Orlando Pride picked up their first win of the NWSL season thanks to Marta's goal in the 68th minute of the clash. After the match, the Brazilian intimated that the goal she scored was a record-setter and she celebrated by putting on an imaginary crown on her head, and saying that it was a team effort to get to that record.

Seb Hines' Orlando side has had an underwhelming start to their season so far as they have only accumulated six points across four games having drawn their first three games. They will be looking to Marta for inspiration yet again this season as the Brazilian veteran is their top scorer in history with 33 goals to her name.
